350 Parramatta Road, Homebush

That familiarly strained hoarse voice rings through the television once more. Last time it was declaring the absolute final days—several days and weeks past due since the last absolute—of the sellout from the Olympics Logistics Centre. This time it is nothing more than a warehouse of second-hand chairs, all from the low, low price of five dollars. To this I know a suspicious look is evoked and hardly questioned. The advertisement runs a camera along rows and rows of hundreds of assorted chairs, stacked one on top of another, covered in the flimsy plastic associated with new furniture. What they may not tell you is if you get there—sale is said to end on Sunday—you'll probably face nothing more than fifty battered gas lift chairs. Many of those chairs might not even have a back, legs, or even more than the stand below the seat. It was hard enough finding the desolate place the first time, the effort and disappointment from that experience makes one wary about a return visit.

The collapse of OneTel and some rug company are also sharing the warehouse duty it seems. There can't possibly be a way for the sale to actually end in three days as they emphasise.
