Another Time On Another Line

If the interview has been a long time experienced then the named phone call has equally been absent. Shortly before the dawn of noon, that jittery feeling climbed over on the waves to bring an abrupt end to the lathering. The caller was definitely male and had come across some details. At first it felt like a targeted survey—those things are getting too far apart to enjoy the process—but with the words of either "recruitment" or "consulting" it felt apparently worse.

Whimpering in a whisper the man's voice was considerably weak and inefficient. Time on hand aplenty, he was instructed to call back on a stronger line so as to better carry the enquiry. That was four hours ago and there seem to be no signs of him calling back. Could have been a job offer to break this near two year streak. One and a half months to go before it's a solid block.
