Australia's Brainiest Neighbour

Ramsay Street were open for a new surname with most of the Neighbours cast coming from the Timmins family on to tackle the quiz. Brief introductions shoot straight into the game with host Sandra Sully affecting certain answers in pairs, throwing off the vocal cues for anybody trying to listen for the answers.

Dark light shadows the younger players on the older set questions. Champions of their unknowing knowledge, the arms are often up from everyone. Close fitting wardrobe sees a tight race among those just outside the magic six. Caitlin Stasey, who shadows the opening, blazes on the tie-breaker matching pairs question, edging out Patrick Harvey, Blair McDonough and Brett Swain who take time on the side.

Stephen Lovatt knocks over Film with 10 and then collects 6 from History. Ben Nicholas shorts himself with 4 from TV and just 5 from Geography. Nell Feeney manages to swoop and dive on certain questions from Food and Drink and Science to round out on 14.

Keeping luck on her side, Stasey shoots a guess on the last of her Current Affairs questions to sit on 13, 7 of which from Natural World. Looking a out of hope and saying as much, Eliza Taylor-Cotter implodes on Music and Sport with a total of 5, no clear indication on dead stares or phantom fire. Stefan Dennis aims high but not high enough with Pot Luck and Literature steady at 10.

Dennis, Nicholas and Taylor-Cotter casualties of the second round fight.

Stasey, after memorising a soliloquy or two, takes a chance on A Midsummer Night's Dream as her pet topic into the third. Feeney holds Frank Lloyd Wright as Lovatt skewers the selection with The Battle of Passchendaele.

Stasey and Feeney opt for their own and watch on as Lovatt takes a punt on the Shakespeare question to score an odd number on the total. Fair plodding as each then continue to unravel their own questions, Lovatt holding the upper hand all the way into the finish. Stasey almost takes him down by the ankles but misses out on tying, shooting just wide on a general knowledge tile.

Lovatt pips the women and grabs the hunk of glass and directs his prize money to Open Family Australia.
