Back on the treadmill for a few

Nothing like taking off a few comics from the pile to make that pile a little lighter. If only there weren't so many piles around the place.

Ex Machina #10

Wondrously horrific scene hits with an unnerving sense of harrowing clarity. Fear is nothing like watching and then internalising the actions of another. Especially when such actions are undeniably within the realm of possibility.

Amazing Spider-Man #519

Spider-Man, Mary Jane and Aunt May move into the Avengers Mansion. Nothing ensues. Tony Stark looks remarkably like Timothy Dalton. What happened in the pages exactly? Can't recall a thing.

Astonishing X-Men #9

Danger Room chaos erupts with mind games playing out to the end scene. Sentience in otherwise non-sentient things is a fearful proposition. Magnificent reds of chaos throwing about those struggling inside as the X-Men outside attempt to strangle out a foothold in the situation.

Marvel Knights Spider-Man #12

With all that fell in the preceding eleven issues, there is a definite ending with the wrap up Mark Millar's run on Spider-Man. Many loose ends frayed in the run came abruptly to a halt with a solid feel. Happening over the couple of pages after, a rather forced sign off before Millar's sign off in the faux letters column.
