The clippers were out and ready for a good dose of hair shortening. Then up in the sky, the clouds rolled and waved into one another much like eggs being whisked. The speed at which they were tossing and curling about was a magnificent marvel to behold.
Then the rain started and all was to be packed up and away. The fury and the excitement as the rain shadowed itself and blew anything not nailed or deeply rooted down all over the place. Lasting only close to a full half-hour the compost was most welcomed.
Half of the banana trees in the backyard did not hold enough ground of their own and fell over with fear. Huge trees around the area with weak root systems or soft soil were easily overcome in the storm. A black out across the surrounding lasted for nearly 22 hours. The worst thing about being in a black out is not being able to watch the news on television of the freakish storm.
