Creativity starves insanity
Swooping on a day's difference, bright fluoro yellow clearway signs up all over the York Street and Barrack Street areas at Wynyard on Friday pretty much confirmed the hype. Extra filming of a few of the Superman Returns scenes took place in a rather locked down section of the CBD.
Damn shame with it falling on that Saturday of Saturdays. One in which a gallery of a museum will be seen to. No chance of a comfy buffer between gawking at the actions of one to make way for the gawking of the inactions of the other. The prospect of wasting hours in the overcast sun listening to Bryan Singer shout for retakes doesn't raise any interest or like in those who were shown the signs.
Of course, this is the kind of thing geeks and dags live for. Certain types though.
