According to the CCF commercials, twenty children die in the span of thirty seconds. Statistics of sometime ago state that for every second, a new person greets the world. That's thirty in thirty seconds. Which nets twenty new people every minute, every hour sees twelve hundred, twenty-eight thousand, eight hundred new beings a day. Ten million, five hundred and twelve thousand a year. That's if my calculations and the late night commercials are correct. Late night since the commercial networks won't give it out for free.
Sarah Jane sets a new world record of two million, two hundred and forty nine thousand, three hundred and forty two downloads in twenty four hours to smash into the Guiness World Records.
Margolis' record number was broken in thirty-seven minutes and Ashes' in nine hours and seventeen minutes. All while having far fewer pictures than Margolis and achieving it all non-nude as opposed to Ashe. That's more downloads than people, around eighty for each of those newborns.
The Census form has arrived before my TaxHelp volunteer results have. The results from the census helped mapped the Olympic and Paralympic Torch relay routes. Estimations put completing the form at around a half hour. I completed it in ten and one week out. I have marked my desire to be catalogued by name. With the number of TaxHelp volunteers rounding the two thousand mark I would like to know if I am included in that number. Perhaps the hardest thing to comprehend are all the leaflets they sent to me—along with a newsletter for volunteers—explaining and correcting all this information and what not of plants, depreciation and other deductions and claims. Most of these things, if I remember training at all, were marked out in red as "UNABLE TO COMPLETE."
