It started off as a result of laziness. Everyday with the same outfit. First it was a week, then a month, then the calendar said it had been a little over three. At the end of the first month it was seen as pretty ludicrous, always in the same outfit when all the other university gremlins changed theirs, daily even. But in the middle of the third month the compatriates cheered on the champion cause, to go without changing clothes for uni for three whole months: the way to live in this world of appearances. The washing machine couldn't have swilled the jeans any sooner. The seat was giving off a dull yet noticable low sheen. It wasn't without grime either. Very nice to have ended it after three months. The job interviews might have been lost pushing the cause. Who knows.
