Cutting through with Everests

Nothing

Five years and the time to move on finally enters with the fraying laces kicking it over to the new aglets. History finds itself moving from left to right in a swathe of motion that cuts the air like a gesture of the arm. Deep yellow will follow into the white that features speckles of an eggsy yellow long gone.

Everest II

Colorado Everest II, as the sales girl with a streak of hot pink in black hair a month back noted, slips easy into the wardrobe when the predecessor is just a mark under. That, however, is for the concern of people with coordination and a sense of style. Foreign concepts really.

Walking an initial suburb crossing trail of eight kilometres (an insane round trip under the winter midday sun no less) leaves a burning sensation on the arches. Atrophy from slides to collect letters from the mailbox and pushups in the backyard warrant breaking a stride over a fortnight of lock down.

Hopes and sparks for slashes of blood face the stark reality of slight button sized irritation.
