And prime time to slip into the world of comics. Another dose, another hit, another few taken from the ever mighty pile and pushed over into done. In the interim, with a grapes to mull over, the curious scratch of knowing not of when or where a chapter break falls in the red California dust. Enough to start the wait for the train to Ingleside, where the expanse of land awaits a prayer or two.
Penultimate issue of the first volume and the read still sounds like day one. At least in terms of tone and set up for the swing into the second and subsequent pages. Clear enough, it jumps in straight without the necessary read of previous to manage a cliffhanger that's tightly foreshadowed. Shame then that filing reveals an unread #98 in the order, one step back before the end.
Vampires like no other, and Blade pops in and runs off looking like Blade from any other incarnation. Tough nuts and strong of will, the kind of Daywalker that won't back down in the heat of a fangy battle. Fangs for the memories and the side line issue of MJ and Peter is all that boils the blood. Walk off and cool down, mate. More time apart is in the cards. Or play another game entirely in the meantime. Battleship perhaps.
Wonder Woman after supposed Wonder Woman flit the scene and all this history of Diana Prince to keep track of it's a wonder things are as milky clear as they are. Superb lines keep the fitness of this Amazonian in the highest of orders. A full figured woman who knows how to handle herself even when she's not even herself and instead someone else trying to be herself. Such an issue of identity, it may not even be what it's really all about.
