Cakes fill the air as another week draws to a close. Departing for one and birthdays for two whose names are known just minutes before the cake slicing and the Seinfeld sugar rush endured by Elaine makes a reference. One upping as the cakes roll out, there's fruit and icing and passionfruit to cover the first. More fruit and something with a breadbase takes the second leading onto the chocolate icecreamy cake two hours later. Doesn't matter what the occasion or how many occur in the week, the repetition of eating another slice of cake each week makes the absence startling.
