Dry are the eyes, for they find the time

Comics

Cast across the box that traps those tiny big people to make them sing, dance and perform little shows is an empty slate. No time staring at the guide makes the offerings any better, any more palatable with not even Veronica Mars making a late night appearance.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Turns out there is some humour in the old webslinger after all. Still working the whole totem mythos into his life, the walk up along the comedy track is spotted with bits of light otherwise not seen as clearly in previous stations. Massive question lingers on the end of the final page. A return from the grave always happens to pull that reaction.

Fell #5

Quiet episode in the life of detective in a slum for a town. Working the holding bay is a drill down to the fine tune skills in negotiating something of a story out of people. No less the charmer here, the very act of sitting across the table and milking the conjecture all the while with a scant feeling of knowing another blink will hurt as much as not doing so.

Ultimate Spider-Man #93

About time for the action to move in with the dialogue and finding out a bit about the situation of it all. The standing still prawn cracking emanating from the ankle set. Television montages working in a comic book don't make them any more palatable, but at least it does serve a hefty dose of background like their counterparts. Oh for crying out loud, the seat of the chair hold no confidence as the folding legs start to expose their uncut selves.

Emo Boy #6

Sad punk here, shy of expressing emotions and it's a cause for celebration of being stuck between two points holding a pretzel for the change. Highlight of the issue revolves around a sudden smack of literature, brought to the fore in a most comedic fashion. One that shares the kind of booty to out turn the depression that overwhelms life so.

Ex Machina #20

Tenterhooks and dreams for the better, everybody's singing but they can't see the end of the tape creeping up in front of them. Fine fibrous acts of courage, struggles against the man and a wondering eye cast forth into the heady world of breathing a hospital ward. Throwing them all down to make one fine combination. Finger gestures slip by in the night with a chuckle at the crude sharpness of execution.
