Creativity starves insanity
After who cares how long, Smallville and Ed make it back, but back on a day usually reserved for anything not really worth watching or supported by the networks. Not much survives on the prime time slot of a Saturday. The X-Files, The Invisible Man, The X-Files. Odd stuff later on in the night fare better, a series of RKO horror movies doing comfortably. Isle of the Dead, King Kong, The Thing from Another World, Curse of the Cat People... gloriously stitled dialogue and excellent usage of tone.
