Freezing on the precipe of the bathroom, a few steps away from the cold of the tiles, it's drowning out the murmur of the walls that makes reading a few comics a slightly warm affair. Thoughts aren't quite enough to stop the core body temperature from dropping into a rock lock state though.
With absolutely no recollection of reading any previous in this series, the clean fresh slate is like walking into a rerun where half of the characters are from the new episode. Flash Thompson in this case reverting to the jock from high school, now a gym teacher, still tormenting Peter Parker. Amazingly the feeling is of not enough and too much Mexican wrestling working the same ring.
Lipping on the edge is by far the strength of this episode. A rising sense of fear making the waiting game by the hospital all the more potent. Seriously in tune with the chaos of rushing first before the blast clears, it's a reflection on having the inability to control all the forces.
Super tight and quick on its feet, Casanova Quinn makes with the head spinning adventures. Back into time and walking the tightrope of jamming too much information into not enough space is no problem here. Flow works well, the rush of coming toward the final page not seen until the flick past and even then, it leaves the back of the neck a bit on the squeaky side. So enthralling for such a massive hit to the face.
