Evidence of alien/human experimentation goes under and up in flames as the alien Billie swipes dead the founding doctor. Mulder and Doggett pissing people off left and right just goes to show how well they've adapted to each other's presence and style. A shifty woman attending Scully's baby shower slips away to the bathroom and swaps Scully's medicine for what we later believe to be only vitamin supplements. Scully is pissed when she later catches this woman—who is part of the conspiracy for alien/human hybrids—in the act. In an office of the FBI she reveals that Scully's unborn child is not an alien/human hybrid, rather the perfect human with no frailties to speak of. The reason why the aliens have been trying to kill the unborn is fear of a survivor.
Running scared from the determined alien forces they chose in a split second to trust Krycek. In a very defined execution the team managed to rid themselves of Billie from the top of the FBI into a dumptruck. Monica Reyes speeds off with Scully in the passenger seat. We don't know where they're headed, neither do Mulder nor Skinner. They hope the aliens don't either. Doggett may though.
