Evil is Afoot

Danger is in the home. Weapons of stealth and cunning aren't usually found, but implements of dull and sharp continuing pain may be. One was a metal staple, larger than the life of the stapler. Wayward steps following a chase given to rid the yard of feral and unthankful cats led the foot right into a metal spike. No blood spurting endlessly into the rugs, floors, walls or furniture, just pain as the reddening slowly turns out to be blood in the end. Follows pretty quick on the heels of slicing that soft skin sitting just under the left ring finger. Papercuts are unnerving.

Coherence is lost.
