Retrospective in Comics

Future is in the future

Pages crinkle under dust and the warp of shadows leave the leaves a pale off colour in dark. Here lies the past with a crawl into the present but never close enough to spike the future. Thoughts cast into wild stress only can take a page between the wait from dusk to dawn.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #10

History lessons for those who came in late and it's always about splitting time lines from one character and the next. Points in the stream looking outward and back in. Bad Wolf pops up in the kind of note that suggests a certain Doctor is on the mind. Existence, can be all about perspective and it's a thing of wonder to never actually know and far greater to be fully aware.

Futurama #23

Leela finds herself in some kind of identity crisis and there's this constant flow of hi-jinks as the veritable swing motion from the past and future continues scratching the brain. Looking up and looking down at the sight of things that were and things that may very well come to be. Thoughtful, jovial and quick to dash between a wait before the drying.

Jack of Fables #1

Spin-off from the main and there's no real need to swim in the other pool before jumping into this hot bath. Characters and set ups flowing well to direct the line as the story picks up a steady pace and is already looking fine with the step into the old Fables home. Constant is the sense of knowing familiar characters and trying to remember the forgotten childhood stories now sitting in retirement homes, gone away from the viewing and reading public. Such a shame to even hint at losing the treasures by any force.
