Gus Beezer and Spider-Man

Comics

Stacked on the counter of the comic shop were piles of standing orders being sorted for the week. In pretty much every one of the sections was a copy of Ultimate Spider-Man. It's the same comic known for its supremely flimsy covers—the kind that makes it easy to make a beak/mouth thing and just as slippery for rolling them up. Nicks and creases riddled each of the covers. None were safe.

In the same week of Ultimate Spider-Man was Guz Beezers' adventure with the same kind of hero. Didn't realise until later on, outside the confines of the shop that a section of the page edges were chipped right out, like as if small teeth had taken to them and yet the edge of the front and back covers were left untouched. Incidentally the interior art/story featured the bottom third as a optically ripped supplement provided by Beezer himself. It could just be the new kind of Marvel method.
