Heat of the Kitchen

Nothing

Nobodies from the street showed where they were at the middle of a weekday when a fire choked itself to death under the drown of two fire hoses and possibly three fire extinguishers. The crowd grew and grew and added on with interlopers straggling and parking all over the streets for a look. The fire trucks and ambulances had a tough time getting to the blaze. Watching from behind the steel gaze fly-screen doors, the excitement was lacking. The fact that the view was largely obscured didn't help.
