Written entirely by Ricky Gervais, the flavour of a David Brent type is is all over this episode of The Simpsons. Wife swapping slams and references to all sorts of pop culture belie the fact that the humour comes from a man of the UK. Its rife with more US centric things and is constant in the jokes.
Missing out on watching the live-action intro done for the Brits, the spit is roasting. Awkward moments and the sense of having to adjust the tie for that kind of situation makes the delivery of it all that more sparkling.
