It Works Because It Doesn't Exist

Spiralling

The last two weeks of the year and the first week has always managed to throw about some nonsensical confusion. Merchants may or may not be open given the close proximity of the public holidays. Holidays used to sweat out the hangovers and binges of nights before. But the worst thing about being unemployed at this time is the intangible loss of time. An absence of an appreciation for the time spent lounging around just before having to let the mind succumb to the numbing furore that supposedly keeps the world in check. Thursdays now feel like as if they were Saturday and Sundays feel like they were Friday. Yet this could all be just a result stemmed from watching endless commercial television interloped with an ever growing pile of magazines with half covers. At least when they are done, they'll be done with for good and trashed like the mags they are.
