Every now and then a war movie comes along to showcase the humanity, the fragility and fruitless labours of conflicts. Standing at the ready and with much mirth and joy, Joyeux Noel empathetically embraces all sorts of dilemmas and far out situations. That their base lies in foundations of a hint of truth makes it all the more sacrificial and delightful.
Presence of sweet company in mind raise the expectations and enjoyment of the film as a whole. Reading credits in French prove as much an endeavour as reading credits presented in English.
