Sydney Kings are well into their thumping of the Singapore Slingers and the lack of a battle is most sidestepping in nature. Fast is the play, slow is the reception and the game blows out any kind of realism or respect with the game announcer.
Short on knowledge, cast into the limelight of the big mike behind the power desk, there's nothing short of amateur as the cornrows attempt at eliciting that ever rare "cool" beat to the show. Words, chants and even the use of the mike itself, appalling and all too shocking to bear. Hearing is one thing, having the ears under such assault even worse.
Singapore are what looks like an anomaly, a foreign based team with many of the players Australia. Export rule here of no more than two working something odd. Dying minutes in the final quarter and they let loose with the Asian on the team. One chance to break out with a nice drop into the basket, short of the mark.
Kings having nothing but ease sliding them into the win by the end of the final quarter blower.
Sydney Kings 102 - Singapore Slingers 76
