Sensing no time like that before a possible nose bleed, squeezing through a few comics proves easy when time is already too late and nothing can be done about it.
An inside front cover marking the use of a Wacom tablet for the art is stunning. The quality is just superb. At least until midway through. The degradation of the line art running along a line that gives it a sort of perfunctory odour. Longer into the back end, the closer the art resembles death and decay, of itself and about the plague and disease within. On this, it's a well crafted move. On the feeling that this falls too short, holds it back from being something entirely solid.
Nothing like superpowers for drunken university students lingering in the pace and verve of the issue. Annalee takes her sweet time passing judgement on a lot of people that the comic reads more about her than anything else. When the dorm room does get hit by a mysterious bolt of blue, there's nothing to show exactly what's going on outside a fat beaver turning up out of the locker. Cold, despite the fingertips warping the covers within seconds of touching.
