Bleary enough to face the darkness, not enough to feel the warmth of the thin blanket with another cold night freezing the temples to pulsate. Science-fiction beaming out from cathode rays perhaps? No suck luck on the second night of a new money grabbing show.
There is a lot of dead air between callers leaving the hosts of Quizmania fighting for pout time. Mugging the camera as they do, their ability to fill time is pretty impressive.
Listening is another matter. The content of it all extremely inane and intensely repetitive. Hearing on and on with the short ditty introductions to the callers steals a resolution to continue a block on blank greetings in the turn over for blank greetings as a substitute.
Product placement doesn't get any more blatant than when hosts, Nikki Osborne and Amy Parks before the black, stand around flogging the KitchenAid every chance they get. Often just before another lame joke from their clipboard of silence.
Described as a "new revolution in television" in the lead up hype it's The Up Late Game Show with Hotdogs but with the addition of two girl hosts. And now no late night sessions watching Letterman or Enterprise on the days that it is on.
