Through the fortnight's nights a flurry of reading has been accomplished with regard to the ever climbing pile of comicbooks.
Astonishing X-Men #1 (nice reintroduction); Soulfire #1 (no idea what to think about it); another read of Captain America and the Falcon #6 (to make an effort toward a fan letter's coherence - failing though), Spider-Girl #77 (jarring art with a fast story), Ex Machina #1 (can't remember what happened), Captain Marvel #25 (fun farewell).
Even a read of the first Marvel Knight's version of Spider-Man (Aunt May is annoying again), Garth Ennis' 303 preview (a five page nothing tease) and just a few pages of Army of Darkness: Ashes to Ashes #1 (goofy art, so far recaps the movie).
The biggest thrill of all was the attack and completion of something so there such as the first Invincible trade. For months on, sitting with an army of others, crying out to be read as another would happen to join their ranks. Good read in the end, a nice breezy and fun adventure of a super hero vein without the pomposity of trying not to be.
