See something, say something, scare someone

Riding over the sleepers across town, down underneath the city and the tracking motion leads a path across the noise and into the erasure. Keeping level and keeping the head down, the eyes barely move and find this to be their detriment.

Ears lock out and blow whistles of shuffling leather from the grey overalls of the uniforms keeping the distance between. One step away from the many rolling over and into themselves and the hand of the authorities grabs an elbow of concern.

Talk, all talk, and the concern of eyebrows rise up with each uttering a stuttering. Paranoia whips up extremes with hands all pawing for explanations, each finger dripping with more accusation than the last.

Passersby pass on by and they keep on walking by with heads turn and looking on for a bit of the entertainment in the detainment.

Close, but too close, to a walk away into the dark alley ways and where the scripture and the law find themselves constantly at war.
