Sleeper on the tracks

Left at the station and right between the platforms. Hurdle over the face and knees of a stranger reading on the Achilles heel between the aisle and window. Spatial displacement shapes for disenchantment, finding the same and similar, shifting along planes with grand schemes of the old in posted architecture.

Voices raise up along the slope down of the platform and concern swings eyes and brows to edge closer to the audible hums. Morning slinks along and the veritable slump into the slouch paces a quick hop.

Reverse on the return and the kick into gear smoothes the eyes into the black. Three before and it's done over two after, a silent chill of death on the empty. Early up and late enough, the defeat is in the dark, where sleep finds tracks to roll on over and over.
