Sleeping short on United 840 to San Francisco

Sensation eerie of the shortness of time with the spine feeling out all sorts of curvatures but none worth the flex out to a few hours solid of unconsciousness. Feeling out San Francisco, its gallery of plastic boxes down a walkway for the walkers not walking along the travelators on either side is an interesting diversion for passers-by. Time slows to notice this after another half day travelling through time.

27 Dresses

Too short between the international legs, Heigl appears again and as before, the eyes fall on the page. There to read through tales of the South and one widow fighting off the advance of death to soldiers in the Civil War. A tale seeing the light through the port side windows before the shuttering down as night falls in place and the dinner carts walk the aisles shortly after the fade to credits.

Fool's Gold

Matthew McConaughey, the man who deflects all types of shirts, and Kate Hudson pair up again like their last half dozen ventures to this time swim about waters off the Bahamas. Or the Gold Coast. All in hijinks and search of lost deblumes. Or gold coins. Or treasure still of the deep and salvageable. Veritable slacker/loser makes good and profits with riches, some dead bodies and goofy foots with off-balance humour. Flight fare for a Sunday afternoon.

Vantage Point

Cobalt hue and the rest is awash in a blank generic feeling of not knowing what or where to look at.

So arrives the midnight snack. Bread roll in cling wrap with ham and who knows, maybe even a slice of cheese. Sweets for the teeth to sleep with, but better in the pockets for later. Always think ahead on the transportables if time is spare on layover. Airport food is inflation on its own accord. Bread so starchy the teeth enlist the work of molars, bypassing the incisors on first go. Milk is for dipping the roll in to loosen the fibres while coating the stomach with a layer of calcium.

Jumper

Hazing out of midnight, the repeat of the science-fiction/fantasy tale of quick cuts and inventive fight sequences captures enough for a few snips of scenes before a chance, an attempt, at another pocket hour or two at best at sleeping off being awake.

Breakfast warms up a hot black plate of plastic with eggs and scatters of potato cubes, a cylindrical snag and tommmy toes for a geometric meal.

breakfast on the hospital flight
Omelette with potato cubes and tommy toes, fruit salad (rock and honey dew melon) and croissant (French not included)

Taste of foil tingles visions of hospitals and recovery wards. Outside the patrolling drinks cart, the little cups fester more mango/yellow orange than carrot/pulp orange. For less pulp, a more acidic tang to compensate.
