Sorely Indented Palms

Nothing

Walking down the bridge from Macarthur station I could see a wheelchair bound lady wheeling herself up the massive incline. She didn't look like she had an easy time of it. At least seven people just walked straight past her without even looking. On approaching her I asked her if she wanted help and she gladly accepted. So I pushed the wheelchair up the incline and bridge even though I had just come down from there. Seven people walked right on by without bothering to help someone who might like some assistance. This riles me. When she thanked me after having nearly tipped her out of her wheelchair navigating the seriously uneven planks on the bridge, I had nothing to say but "No problem" and it isn't. It never is a problem to help out some stranger you pass and they aren't asking for money to buy drugs. At least now I know what it feels like to push a wheelchair for someone alive.
