Spooks come out to play after dark

Higher stakes in the small and big blind chips floors above the ground. Crash smash cars along the street below and Guitar Hero waiting for the losers up above.

Fellows through the door and down at the table ready for the deal. Glass seeing through with the knees below knocking about in the slightest of chills. Cold and the nibbles nibbling away with nothing more than the coke and crisps. Enough of that, it's time to destroy some hands.

One hand, two hands and not that many more. Out as the first spin of the room to swat away the ante. Short on the calls and not there enough for all in, the fret board of the sprites starts up Barracuda. Round two on the table again and the exit delays by two. Closer to the pot though far enough to fall short of the gains.

End of the rounds and at the end of the strumming, the Spooks come out to play.

Skeletons and skulls with bats and ghouls. Round and round the ring the running goes, where it stops, not even the cat knows. Rules for the high road, the ready bookworm discovers the self extension of the game itself and the level is up on the haunt. Backstabbing, running the gauntlet of goblins and leaving the rest behind. Quick hands and deft minds will leave the black cat meowing for a way out. And out is the only way to win.

Two card games in a night and the latter is the more enjoyable.
