Two years or so and the comic box finally popped out of its flattened state into that of a respectable box. The comics had been sitting in their bags for quite some time and for no reason they just looked like they wanted to stand and breathe and get away from the cramp confines of weighing down each other's spine. An awkward feat at first, but the box soon made its stand. Then the comics joined in on the action. Comics aren't ever read the day they are bought. If they are read in the same month that's pretty good in itself. So there were issues that hadn't been read yet and these weren't going to sleep standing in the box. That would be privileged for those that had been completed. When all the sorting and shuffling came to an end no space remained after the "done" comics were in. Left outside, those yet to see eyeballs. Coincidence?
