Sunscreen Would Have Been a Great Idea

The past two days have been spent hiding in the shadows. With the entire face ablazed on Saturday night, tanning was the worst fear. Forehead, cheeks, nose, all red. The eyeballs are tired, very sore. Could have something to do with being behind a woman who chain smoked close to two packs during the entire day. That's a lesson in sun safety. Having settled in one position during the Invertigo set I didn't move from the spot until eight hours later. Sure, shadows, but with ankles that crack with every step and a tendency to want to lie about all day with feet and legs up in the air. Lowermost ribs are sporting hurt, as are the arms. In the sun for hours on end without drinking and it was freaky that I still don't feel at all dehydrated. I still don't understand how stress levels can rise when you're watching a concert.

Regrets lie in the fact that no consideration was given toward our organiser for the day. Bad move. Sad groove.
