Tax Evasion

Occupied

Stressed and highly strung, I somehow managed to saunter through my very first two tax returns. Throaty, vaspy, and unable to string two letters together to form anything but a profanity. And that was on the way to the centre.

The ninety minutes I spent staring at the forms fly by as if they were sliced. Damn, I was lucky they didn't need any real calculations. The poor soul who comes to me with a need to calculate anything beyond mere percentages and addition is up audit creek. As I did last time, scheduled more appointments for the other volunteer. She is going to be one busy little girl. I expect a totally lazy seven hour day next week.

No one really knew I was even in the building until I left for home. I think I am in reruns.
