Retrospective in Television

Thank God You're Here - Election time

Rub the elbows for it's going to be another warm end to the point where the arm bends. One more to go after this and that's it for the second season. Nice note about the one single dance move from Russell Coight on what it takes to be in a boy band. All about that hoop.

Glenn Robbins disappears first behind the back and it's because of the elaborate need to whip up a costume. Out then to walk with a surly nature underneath his Santa costume. Out from the bottle and this Santa's wicked one. Sexually discharging all over the place, Robbins works the magic that is tried and true, innuendo. Though, for what works for the grand part dissolves at the point of cussing.

Look forward toward rehashing an entry point and that's Matthew Newtown. Again with a crash, only this time a plane for a car. Juvenile, the expanse of the trip stretches to include a period and bit of shouting. Working the survivors to little of the con, an ensemble cast member, Ed Kavalee, takes over the second half as Newtown hits on the brunette.

Don Burke pops out of the shadows to lend some face time. As the expert in the game, he's walking around their homes and backyard. Obviously lying like the players they are, it's a put with their skills to double unconvince Burke of his speciality. Fine line and they walk it right into snickers.

Merrick Watts looks like a bus driver, yet serves the scene instead as a teacher talking to a pair of concerned parents. His attacks are smart and well thought, the case and point runs a logically hazy path. It's juvenile, but serves the segment, and the closer is tight for the presentation.

Jo Stanley looks across toward the music journalist, and he's forgetful features large in the bit. Another soap star turned singer and the opportunity to shred the lie is easy going. Raw and uncut they are, but the twist in on and at the end, Mark "Touchdown dabigiditydoboo" Holden walks in to steal the rest of the segment.

Throw them all into the night of an election coverage and its the final act. Two for two on the main desk and Robbins losing track of his character's name shoots up the funny, scaling up after the down of blanking for a soft cuss. Clearly the other comedy failsafe is to fall drunk and Newtown picks up a glass to slide the easement. Stanley goes troppo and looks set for a nice pick up, though it's not enough.

Newtown takes the night.
