The Book of Skulls - Robert Silverberg

On first thought as I stared at the first page of this science-fiction tale, I was stunned to find—leafing through the pages that would follow—an unusual form. Presented in the quadrative—about having four simultaneous narratives—this was one demanding book to read. I forgot sometimes who was what and the context of the situation. I ploughed myself to read the book as fast as I can before the onslaught of scholastic nothingness. So fast in fact that on re-reading it I managed to get just past halfway in merely four hours as I sat numb from death.

I think in some way that this is my third book in a row in a month where most of the underlying experiences and thoughts of the characters have revolved around something sexual. Or it could just be something subliminal. A great book, too bad I didn't get to re-read the second half again.
