Undisputedly the scariest movie of all time, The Exorcist made no impact on yesterday's neanderthals. Supposedly the classification system in Australia is designed so that only mature enough viewers are able to watch films classified as R18+. Someone really should consider changing the system to determine audiences via IQ levels. Scenes wherein Reagen was heavily manipulated by the devil were met with howls of laughter. I checked my ticket stub, it wasn't a Farrelly Brothers movie. Mobiles were going off, the cheapskates were unwrapping their food, kids snuck in and idiots enquired. I didn't even notice that the film was 132 minutes long, damn fine to pass me like that, hell the credits were the shortest I've ever sat through. Scared? I was too distracted. Watch the Exorcist at home with a BOSS system set-up.
