The Fellowship of the Ring

Peter Jackson has indeed recreated the experience of reading a tome such as Tolkien's magic. 3 hours is a might to bear and the story phased in and out of my mind. Just like it would have if I continued to read any of the stuff J.R.R. wrote after the first three chapters of The Hobbit. Of all of the near one hundred audience that did show up for the forth day of screening, it looked as though only one fat, balding, glasses wearing guy would have taken time out of this meagre existence and learnt Elvish. But just like reading a book I had this kid to the right of me who kept explaining and revealing plot movements throughout. Had the film not finally finished I would be sitting in court explaining myself.

Without having read the next two chunks, The Two Towers and Return of the King, most likely won't have to guess what the main driving points will be.

Monsters, Inc.

For the Birds started things off on a high and the movie just kept it all going. At least this time in the outtakes there weren't as many dropped boom mikes as in A Bug's Life. So many quick little references.
