The Hulk

Popcorn

Rushed to the 10am viewing of Hulk and found an audience of pack rats feasting on noisy foil and a continuous stream of chips fed straight from the packet like a feedbag. They didn't stop and neither did the overblown effects of the multi-image cut panels. The Hulk turned out to look rather well drawn, but not drawn to the state of cel animation, but like green flesh and a hulking, breathing mass. David Banner sounded like an idiot but at least not one person in the cinema let off with a ringing mobile. The Hulk running through the desert looked pretty well done, dynamics and all. That ending could have been better with some toning back. Almost thought it was an extension of what was in the US quarter cut comic not that long ago.
