Old times are here again and the crew from Working Dog trot out their go to mates segments after segment. Looking back over the year, their delivery goes jumping from all the places and Glenn Robbins delivers some home movies playing blue. Watching it all back, it's hard at time to realise it all falling under the broom of 2007.
Better than product placement, the in show advertisements, though hobbling a lot of the pace of the rest of slow show, manages to keep things lively, jokey even. Usual suspects of Bunnings and Super Cheap Auto teasing comedic value to the point of possible laughter. Better than the rest of the commercials in the breaks at times.
Feeling all around the set as they sit and yammer on, they look out of it in the cobwebs of Studio Bert. Displacing themselves to seat and treat the end of the year from their absence.
The Panto falling to parts, not holding up its end of the bargain. Not much of a wait, though a nice revisit to the mindless banter.
