Batman never really held much appeal. The ears grew and shrank dramatically with each issue. The mood was too depressing. The logo sucked. En route to a station a little stop over was in order at a store that doesn't understand the term, "customer relations."
The Ten Cent Adventure, in which Bruce Wayne is accused of a murder was defaced with a secondary cover printed in Australia over the American. At least the price paid was nothing more than a walk on the escalators. Free for the first, a whopping dollar for each subsequent. Gimmicky at worst, it could prove trepidatiously engaging if it weren't for the fact that the whole storyline runs for around four months across several comics a month. At least it was free.
