The Way It Didn't Shatter

Last week there was an incident involving fast moving flies and cats that didn't move from speeding lemons. A result of the blinding footloose actions netted a majorly cool double stroke gash on the inside right ankle. There was not much in the way of profuse bleeding but the skin was hanging on with determination. Shortly after heavy dosing of mercurochrome and Dettol the days before, the outside right ankle felt tender. It now sports the mark of a shattered bone. Cracked and drifting in blood, the sensation is locking the ankle into limited scopes of existence. The loud and clear cracks after spinning it around are the most worrying. At least it only feels like it's been fractured from the shock of ramming the inside ankle up the corner of a grate door.
