This Equates to Something Odd

Either it was the mundanity of it all, the instructor's voice, or the fact that I was twice shaken from sleep at times earlier than 08:00 that my eyelids felt extremely heavly. So much so that I might of napped a few times during my training sessions without anyone spotting me. I was even sitting right alongside the instructor. Most of the other volunteers—of which there were twelve, five being university students, four of those from the same uni and I the only guy—kept reading aloud, nodding and oohing and aahhing throughout it all. The training was nothing more than elaboration of a reading of a book we were given. Scheduled for three days, it was a relief to have rushed it in two. The test is open book and I have a week or more to complete it.

I had a serious headache from it all, that was until I devoured a whole quarter of a lamington cake. Might of been due to the old guy touching my burger with his money grubby fingers. I should of just walked out of there, "Are you kidding me? You touched it, not buying that now!"
