TNC 12: Pizza is always awkward

Drop off the grid for a mere three months and the scape and scope shifts to bring in two from the new and thus makes it three for five. Strange new faces in places of studio spaces. Names and people the same as it ever was but with a cooler stride of the concrete floor.

Warm to the body sling for the home made sandwich, the toaster finds a new friend and foe. Friend in toast and a foe in the cheese melting off the side. Crackling sounds of a square cheese off the Bega block. Easy does it easing into the grill with two lights and nothing more than simplicity will allow. Burn the bread? Near impossible.

Bout around the pizza and a piece off the back. Boxes and glasses, so much is the roundtable on another day off the sign off. A signatory to the weekend before the week begins toward the end.

Talk they want and talk they do. Stories, tales of the Sydney scene and the Friday aftermath in Saturday's Sunday. Clamour up and away, the table goes round and round a ducking goose for the little tidbit of humanity and personality.

Exit, please. Not the lift though.
