Turning over a leaf is akin to turning a page

Organisation, it appears, is a move toward creating order of sorts. In the ever continuing battle to knock out and over the slatting forces of comics, this seems most valid a trial.

Ex Machina #14

Gruesome for sure. The splatter of brain is undeniably grotesque. A slow motion action borne full spread across the pages with absolute skill. The world of heroes and their reasons is explored to an end that leaves a slight question of doubt about the whole ordeal and prospect. Dreams in a dream world living for dreamy ideals.

Battle Pope #3

The world of evil against the forces of a pope with a might fine package cannot attest to test the mettle beyond its worth. There is no shame, there is no rest and the action and excitement in this is as rampant as it is crass.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1

Spider-Man front and centre in a Spider-Man comic. Like they used to be and not with all the hanging on effects of the Avengers just around the panel. Breath of renewed air and a return to the art of a few years back when things were looking a little brighter.

Captain Gravity and the Power of the Vril #4

Given all this tumult in finding a cohesive element, issues out of place fall back in and find themselves actually turning up as new and unseen.

Ultimate Spider-Man #85

For all the pain in not saying something, the doing of nothing is as palpable a scream. Quite a set up for delusion in the opening scenes leads toward a petering on the end.
