Two more for a three-peat

Sport

Waiting to join up with a group, watched the Hawks fans hammering it up for the cameras, a huge drum making up for a lot of their noise. Holding fort in section of the Entertainment Centre whelping and whimpering in line with the Wollongong Hawks. Lazy shooting, a weak defence and even with fouls going all their way, and running under the radar, the Hawks veto their play and watched as the Kings trounced them.

Things were looking rather tight in the second quarter when the Hawks tipped out in front by two. Wasn't enough, third quarter saw the Kings racing back in and off and closing the gate at the fourth. Incidentally, it was during Money Time that a slew of slam dunks and alley oop show boating flooded the highlights. Lots of them. Pretty on continuous. Running like a broken tap with no seal.

Fantastic run of shots sealed the fate of the Hawks. Kings win     game one of the NBL grand final series 96 - 73. That's two more games left to knock over a three-peat. Since the Kings didn't blow up a win too big, they could be good for an away win.
