So it was decided that the news of no news about the new Federal budget slashing funding—yet again—to education would be met with a rally in Hyde Park. There's no doubt that the fountain adorned with near naked bodies of Greeks and such would feature in the end of the march. It always does. Rallying in the city is all well and good, but some forewarning more than a day out of the event makes the numbers nice and respectably noisy. There used to be a time when the phone would ring asking for numbers a mere thirty minutes out from the formation of such a thing. Getting there would have taken at least fifty. Now they don't even call.
