It was the final minute and everyone in the Entertainment Centre was on their feet. The Kings had it in the bag—although a few minutes before the end it looked like they were going to throw it all away—and clinched the right to go to their first ever NBL Finals. The plastic tubes smacked together by wigged fans nearby almost ruptured the eardrums. But the noise to be felt later on was that of drivers cramming to leave the car park with their fingers/hands on the horns. Pretty much everyone went down one exit causing a logjam. Tipped an old lady to drive in reverse to get out quicker only to be met with a look of disdain and disbelief. In any event, the tickets to the first game of the Final went up three whole dollars. Hopefully the Kings will make it worth Sydney's while.
