Billowing smoke, four fire-engines and a crowd of on-lookers surrounded the base of a library I frequently visit to read high-quality material as I'm too cheap to subscribe. There was nothing but clouds of smoke wafting from the scene, particularly unappealing as I would have stayed had the fingers of flame beckoned me to singe my eyebrows. This brings back an hilarious memory from a while back, as they all are. The exact details are fuzzy at best but the kodak moment was when I dropped a match onto a lid with methylated spirits while looking down upon it. You can draw your own conclusions.
