VH1 Ill-ustrated

Caricatures and squinting faces of the animated satire on all things pop culture. Starts off strong like the transmission for SBS. And, following suit, tapers off toward the end like a bad cough spitting up chunks of solid air.

Strong on the opening shots, it's a tight machine and the barbs hit a bulls eye with charm. Fails to keep up with any change as the credits doom their gloom though. More and more as the snippets collide into a sort of liquid television vibe, the apparent blandness of the jokes wear thin.
